Invited to perform at the Somerset ISD “Salute to Services” ceremony, members of Alamo Liaison Squadron participated with a three-ship flyover of the school grounds on Friday, September 11, 2026.
Joining students, families, and community for an evening dedicated to honoring military service members, veterans, firefighters, law enforcement, EMS, and those who answer the call to serve, ALS was featured prominently in the opening ceremonies. ALS members worked closely with ISD Police Department and Bexar County Fire Department officials to ensure a momentous and safe performance. During the national anthem presentation three liaison aircraft, and pilots, from the group saluted attendees in a formation flight over the football field.
Grateful for the invitation to participate, ALS wishes to congratulate Chief Brian Bielefeld, Somerset ISD Police Department, and Javier Esparza, Interim Fire Chief Bexar County ESD #5, for a successful tribute.
